Full-time OSAP documentation requirements

You must provide a letter explaining the following:

  • The circumstances that affected your academic performance during your most recent OSAP funded study period;
  • The steps you will take during your probationary period to improve your academic progress; and
  • Details about your academic and career goals.

You must also provide a copy of your transcripts showing your grades during your probation period if:

  • You have changed postsecondary schools, or
  • You are attending a postsecondary school outside of Ontario, or
  • You are attending a private career college.

If you change schools during the probationary period, you must provide transcripts from each school you attended during this time. You do not have to purchase official transcripts. If you are unsure of what to provide, check with your financial aid office.
