When you applied for OSAP you estimated your income. Before we release your funding you’ll have an opportunity to update your income so that it reflects what you actually earned. It also lets you provide a better estimate of any earnings you expect while in school. If you didn’t make as much as you thought, you may get more OSAP! It also ensures that you don't end up with an overpayment that you have to repay after we confirm your income with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Your application will be reassessed using the new income amounts. If your funding changes as a result, we’ll send you notification or you can check online.
You’ll be able to update your income online – we’ll send you notification to let you know when it is available for you to use. For most students this is in October.
