Checking the Status of Your Application

After you submit your application you’ll be able to track the progress of your application. Your Application Status page will automatically update as your application moves through the 3 steps:

    • Step 1: Before your funding can be calculated – all the things that must be done before we can calculate your funding.

    • Step 2: Your funding – this shows you what money you are getting and when.

    • Step 3: Before your funding can be released – all the things that must be done before you can get your money.

Under each step is a list of items that must be completed along with its status. Generally it’ll show:

    • Done – congratulations! The item is completed and you can view what it was about. An example is you can view your application data.

    • Any items in red are things you or your school have yet to do. A link will be provided under the Action column so you can get details on what has to happen. An example is a link to your Required Documents page where you can print your personalized forms and upload documents for processing.

    • Info – this link will be provided to tell you a bit about what will happen so that you know what is coming up and what you have to do.

Check Status Preference

In your Profile you gave us your preference as to how you want to check the status of your application: online or have the ministry mail the information to you. The fastest and most up to date way of keeping track of your application is to do so online. We encourage you to indicate that as your preference otherwise you will have to wait for your request to be processed and mailed. You can update your preference at any time.
