Why we ask for your email address

If you check the status of your applications online, you’ll receive an email from the ministry whenever there is a change with your OSAP Application for Full-Time Students. Simply log into this website and check the current status of your application.

Log into the OSAP website and go to your Message Centre for the latest information about the status of your application. This is an automatic e-mail so a reply will not be answered.

This feature is not available for all of the online applications on this site. However, it’s still your responsibility to check the status of all of your application(s) on a regular basis, whether or not you receive an email from the ministry.

How we validate your email address

We’ll send you an email with a link to validate your email address. Once you click on the link in the email, your email address will be validated automatically.

Validating your email address is important because we need to confirm that your email address is correct and assigned to you. Once your email address has been validated, we’ll be able to send you email updates about the status of your OSAP application. If you forget your OSAP Access Number (OAN) or password, you’ll be able to reset them using your email address as well.
