How to make a change to information on your profile

Some of the information in your profile cannot be changed by you directly. This includes:

• First name
• Last name
• Date of birth
• Gender
• Date last attended high school
• Citizenship
• If you self-identify as having a disability
• If you are in the care of Children’s Aid Society
• If you are a Francophone student
• If you self-identify as Indigenous

If you want to make a change to any of these items, you must provide a letter to your financial aid office identifying the reasons for the change and the correct information. You may also be required to provide documents to support the change.

When you select “Change Required”, you will be provided with details about the types of documentation needed for that particular item. Once you have gathered all the documentation needed to support the change, you can upload them online by going to your application's "Required documents" page.

Your financial aid office will review your documentation and if it is approved, your personal information will be updated.

Remember: A request to change information on your profile could stop all of your applications from processing.
