Why we need to confirm your enrolment

2024-25 OSAP Application for Part-time Students

Before a payment is made, your school must confirm that you have started classes. This will be done at the start of your study period and halfway of your study period. This ensures that you don't receive OSAP funding for which you are not entitled and that you don't end up in an overpayment situation. That would mean having to repay loans and/or grants.

Note that the processing of a Part-Time Confirmation of Enrolment does not place prior full-time loans in "interest-free status". You should contact the National Student Loans Centre (NSLSC) about repayment of your full-time loans.

Your school must confirm your enrolment no later than 30 days before the end of your study period.
