1. Create a new profile by registering as a new user with your new SIN.
Note: Do not submit an OSAP or Ontario Learn and Stay Grant application for a study period that you have already received funding for under your previous/temporary SIN.
2. Once you’ve created a new profile, provide your financial aid office with a copy of your new SIN documentation as soon as possible.
3. To ensure that loans issued under your previous/temporary SIN maintain interest-free status, submit a Continuation of Interest-Free Status (CIFS) application online or via paper. The paper CIFS application can be accessed under the forms section of the OSAP website.
