Students with disabilities may be eligible for additional funding and/or supports to help pay for their postsecondary education.
If you have a permanent disability or a persistent or prolonged disability, you could be eligible for full-time OSAP funding if you’re studying at 40% or more of a full course load. If you have previously submitted an OSAP Disability Verification Form and/or have a verified permanent disability on your OSAP profile, no additional documentation will be required to verify your disability status. Your eligibility for disability-related funding and/or supports has not changed.
If you have previously submitted an OSAP Disability Verification Form and have a verified persistent or prolonged disability on your OSAP profile, an attestation confirming that you still have the same persistent or prolonged disability (and functional limitations) as originally verified will be required to remain eligible for annual disability-related funding and/or supports.
