Ontario Student Assistance Program

The Student Support Branch of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities administers OSAP on behalf of the Government of Canada and the Province of Ontario through the Ontario Student Assistance Program.

The financial aid office at your institution also plays a vital role in the administration of OSAP because it acts as your direct contact for questions and issues. You should contact your institution’s financial aid office about all OSAP questions and issues while you are in-study.

The Student Support Branch serves as the financial aid office for students studying at a postsecondary institution outside Ontario.

The National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC) is responsible for administering your loan and can assist you with any questions or concerns about repayment of OSAP loans. You can log in to the NSLSC website to check the status of your issued Canada-Ontario Integrated Student Loans.
