Before 2001-2002, borrowers received and repaid separate Ontario and Canada Student Loans through private banks and other financial institutions. Since 2001-2002, borrowers have received a single Canada-Ontario Integrated Student Loan through the National Student Loans Service Centre.
If you have questions about or are having difficulties repaying your Ontario Student Loans issued prior to August 1, 2001 or Canada Student Loans issued prior to August 1, 2000, you should contact the financial institution that holds your loans. Contact information is provided on this page.
Important!
Borrowers with a Canada-Ontario Integrated Student Loan and/or a Canada Student Loan issued between August 1, 2000 and July 31, 2001 should contact the National Student Loans Service Centre for assistance.
