The Status of Your OSAP Application for Full-time Students

The Status of Your Part-Time Canada Student Loan Application

  • Students attending an Ontario postsecondary institution:
    the financial aid office of the postsecondary institution you plan to attend.
  • Students attending an out-of-province postsecondary institution only:
    Student Support Branch, Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, at (807) 343-7260. Deaf students only: 1-800-465-3958 (TDD/TY).

Your Eligibility For Institution-based Financial Assistance

  • The financial aid office of the postsecondary institution you plan to attend can provide you with information on institution-specific financial-assistance programs, including provincially sponsored and mandated programs.

Loan Account Information, Consolidating a Student Loan or Repaying Your Loan

If you have any of the following:

  • Canada Student Loan negotiated on or after August 1, 2000;
  • Part-Time Canada Student Loan negotiated on or after August 1, 2000;
  • Ontario Student Loan negotiated on or after August 1, 2001; and/or
  • Canada-Ontario Integrated Student Loan negotiated after November 17, 2001.

You must contact the National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC).

If you have one of the following:

  • Canada Student Loan negotiated before August 1, 2000;
  • Part-Time Canada Student Loan negotiated before August 1, 2000; and/or
  • Ontario Student Loan negotiated before August 1, 2001.

  • Ontario Student Loans:

  • Part-Time Canada Student Loans:
    Contact the appropriate division of the National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC).
  • Canada-Ontario Integrated Student Loans:
