Assistance for Part-Time Students

Students who are taking from 20 to 59 percent of a full course load are considered part-time students. What kinds of assistance are available to part-time students? How can you apply? How will you get your money? On this section of the website you will find detailed information about OSAP assistance for part-time students.

Types of Assistance Available:

If you are a part-time postsecondary student, you may be eligible for funding through one of the following programs:

Part-Time Canada Student Loan and/or Canada Student Grants.

If you are a part-time postsecondary student who requires disability-related services and equipment to participate in postsecondary studies, you may be eligible to apply for funding through one of the following programs:

The government of Canada provides repayment assistance for students who received Part-time Canada Student Loans.
